ex-Board Member Moves Up

SCHULZ -- Frances Helen Schulz, age 83, peacefully passed away on September 8, 2006 in Albuquerque. She was born on February 10, 1923 to Joe and Helen Carter in California. Frances retired from the Mountain Bell Telephone Co. after 33 years and was very active in many organizations; Telephone Pioneers, a past president of Quota Int. of Albuquerque, a member of PEO Chapter, the VENA Neighborhood Association, and UFO (unfinished objects) Ladies Club and she was active in the Combined Service Clubs. Both Carl and Frances have been supporters of many Albuquerque Charities. Frances loved flowers of all varieties and enjoyed listening to music. After her retirement both Carl and Frances enjoyed traveling across country and taking cruises. Frances memory will be cherished for her caring nature and positive attitude, and the support she gave to others. Frances is survived by her husband Carl of 47 years of marriage; her son Carl, Jr. and spouse Gloria of Brentwood, CA. She has three grandchildren; Richard Schulz, Antonia Todd and Carla Schulz; and two reatgrandchildren; one brother; Dick Carter and wife Betty of Reno, NV; one nephew Rich Carter and wife Linda of Reno, NV and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, with Pastor Mike Elliott officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit on Monday, September 11, 2006, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Wyoming Chapel.
